“Abe: The proboscis Monkey” Animatic (2024)
Abe is a funny looking big-nose monkey. He’s the biggest fool in the Jungle…the village idiot of monkeys. Abe is a prideful, greedy, lazy, gluttonous, envious, idiot with a short-temper. Abe loves eating (bananas) and sniffing stinky-things (like poop). When he laughs, his nose honks. When he’s angry, his nose turns red. Abe is overweight, he lives a sedentary lifestyle watching TV while reclining in his lazy-boy chair. Abe has a fear of heights, alligators, and sharks. Abe often meditates in hopes of attaining a level of consciousness that cannot be reached!
This series takes place in a fictional Borneo Jungle. Similar to an Ewok-Village, the Monkey’s live in makeshift wooden-houses high among the tree’s canopy. Unfortunately, they must go to work so they can afford to eat. The flowers are alive, meaning they have feelings and awareness. They are often happy. The lush trees and plant-life flourishes thanks to nearby lakes, rivers, and streams.
