Hammer Time!
Using intuition I animated my Stickybones striking a hard object with a heavy prop. This was a (clay) hammer crushing an empty soda can. Practiced impact and recoil.
Software: Dragonframe, Final Cut Pro
Metamorphosis Animation
I animated at 12fps on ones. Include are a minimum of 10 inbetween poses (sculpting in front of the camera) before placing model "B" Shot at both the beginning and end (at least 8 frames of the model sitting still before the action begins) anticipating the transformation/following-through and settling into the second model. Presentation: Model is in focus, well-lit, the camera was not bumped, and the model is easy to see in frame.
Software: Dragonframe, Final Cut Pro
Replacement Animation
I shot at 12 fps on ones. Included the minimum amount of required inbetween replacement models (10-11). Shot at least an 8 frame handle at both the beginning and end of my animation. Presentation: Models are in focus, well-lit, action-safe in the composition, and the camera wasn't bumped.
Software: Dragonframe, Final Cut Pro
